As far as accommodations I would remove the following hotels listed close by through Map quest as they are not in good areas: Travelodge, Broadview, Kempinski , Oak Park, YMCA, Leyden Motel; Melrose Park, Holiday Inn, Hillside. There are many fine hotels in Oak Brook, IL that can accommodate all budgets. Oak Brook is approx 8 miles west of Hines VA Hospital. The restaurants listed close by Mapquest are iffy as we are not in the best of neighborhoods. There is a food court on both Loyola Medical Center & Hines VA Hospital campuses.

Emerald City Coffee - located in Main Hospital Lobby; Hours of Operation: Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Vending Machine Areas - located in Main Hospital on the 2nd Floor, GMC Clinic - 3rd floor, Medical Subspecialities Clinic - 4th Floor, 12th Floor; Building 1 in the D lobby and F lobby.
Parking:
Hines is pleased to offer ample parking for all our patients and visitors. If you are coming to the main hospital (Building 200) you can park in the lots closest to the hospital on both the north and south sides of the facility. Visitors are welcome to park in any lot on the facility, keeping in mind that some individual spots have been designated specifically for hospital volunteers or for drop-off and delivery. Handicapped parking is located outside each building on our facility.
